1月9日 General Stuff...I have solved all of the Internet Explorer problems on my website - All of the pages now work...
I have added a sort of live bookmark thing for my website (sorry, but Internet Explorer can't do live bookmarks yet - Use Firefox!)
Also, I recommend that you check out the 'You can call me Betty' blog at http://youcancallmebetty.blogspot.com/. The person who runs this blog has divided up some of the areas in North London into Monopoly board colour groups...
Anyway...Got to go...I've got a biology exam at 10:15...
Dark Fire  1月4日 I'm back...I've actually been back for the last few days, but I haven't had time to post stuff on this blog because I have been trying to adjust my temporary Christmas sleep pattern (awake from 4pm to 4 am) in preparation for school. That's where I'm posting this massage from now. I have my mock GCSEs for the next few weeks, and then my birthday, so I won't be able to develop my programs much for a while. Whilst I'm on the topic, I'm trying to re-make the installer for the Emptosoft Downloader with a new user interface called 'Experience UI'. If I can successfully make the new user interface, and I like it, then I may make all of my programs use it. However, at the moment I can hardly make head nor tail of it, and it doesn't appear to have any instructions, so the situation doesn't look hopeful.

websites list, because it is quite interesting, and it has just been
upgraded to a proper server. It has the full history of the London
Underground, including the failed 'Northern Heights' project, and the
Metropolitan line beyond Amersham. There seems to be a huge amount on
the abandoned Aldwych branch of the Piccadilly line, probably because
it was only fully used for a few years, but remained in partial use
until only a few years ago. This means that items ranging in age from
100 years ago to 10 years ago are preserved there. 2. I am posting a lot of Emptosoft stuff on the Emptosoft forums on SouthanUK at the moment (Did you notice Emptosoft got moved up the forums home page?). like to specially recommend that this program is used when rendering
long animations in Terragen, because it can be configured to speed up
your fans if the 100% processor power bombardment by Terragen starts
cooking your processor. For those users who are afraid of messing with advanced things like fan speeds, when it is installed it is only configured to let you see the temperatures given by your temperature sensors. Temperature sensors? Don't worry if you think you don't have them - almost all motherboards come with several built in. WARNING: If you don't know what you are doing (which is hard, because the help file is quite easy to use and helpful), then don't touch any settings. There are some settings in this program that could, and almost certainly would permanently damage your computer if you change them to something wrong (like setting the speed of all of your fans to 0%)! Dark Fire 9月8日 Desktop Sidebar...At the moment I am downloading Desktop Sidebar to have a look at, and

to install any free rubbish, like a lot of free screensavers do, then I

Dark Fire 8月31日 Space Upgrade...I have put an invisible Windows Media Player module on this page, so this may cause some problems on some computers. I will begin to use it soon, but for the moment all you should be able to see of it is an extra blank line of text under the right column.
Dark Fire 8月2日 Busy for the next month...I'm busy for the next month, mainly finishing off Portable Fresh Download 1.1, which is very overdue, but also doing some work on Doors, primarily finishing the improved Start Menu off.
In PFD (the short name for Portable Fresh Download), I am programming a section of the program, which can copy all of your settings for Fresh Download from a computer on which you have installed and personalised it, and save them, so that every time you use PFD, Fresh Download will be configured to your personal settings. I have also decided that version 1.2 will have the ability to detect any changes to these settings whilst you are using PFD, and save them, so you are not stuck with the original settings you had.
In Doors Longhorn (currently in Gamma version) I am reconstructing the start menu from Action Buttons to make it easier to use than the 'Windows stlye' start menu in Doors XP, Doors Longhorn Alpha, and Doors Longhorn Beta. I have constructed the main start menu, but still have to make the All Programs section, which will be hard because all of the buttons will need to be programmed to disappear not only when the desktop or start button are clicked, but when the All Programs button is clicked as well. I am still debating whether the All Programs Menu needs Sub-Menus (Like the Accessories menu in Windows). I may also develop some unexpected tools for Doors as well, like an internet connector tool.
Anyway, I will not have time to put messages here until very late August or early September. However, by then I will hopefully have a new computer, so I will be able to develop my flash stuff again, and be able to use Terragen a lot faster. Have a great summer!
  Dark Fire 7月31日 Data recovery...After almost 8 months of having no access to most of my stuff, due to the RAM and Motherboard melting in my computer, I have recovered my files. In the mess left on my hard drive, I found a new version of the Adventures of Guy, which I was working on the moment the computer blew up (I was trying to update the year displayed on the play frame, because it was early January). Although I have not yet completed this change, and a few more, which have become neccessary over the time I had no access to the file, I have asked the Administrator of SouthanUK to upload the current file.
Due to the recovery of so much that could be included in Doors Longhorn and Doors Vista, the release of Doors Longhorn has been suspended indefinitely. It will now be released whenever I feel I have added enough on to it from my original files and programs.
I will also be more busy than usual for the next month, so I probably will not have any time to add entries to this blog. Have a great summer!
Dark Fire 7月19日 General announcement...I am very busy at the moment, so don't expect too much activity here for a while...
Dark Fire Extensions map...I made a minor modification, and re-uploaded the picture. The modifications were to change the stations on the Circular Line in south London with Network Rail connections, from normal stations into interchange stations.
Dark Fire 7月16日 London Underground Extensions...I have uploaded my modified map, and I may send the map to Transport for London, to see what they think of my proposals. Brief description of proposals:
1 - Piccadilly extension through Enfield to Waltham Cross, providing a link between all of the existing North/South running railways, and also running into Enfield Town, reducing the need for car parks there (and thus eliminating the shortage). 2 - Circular line, which follows the North and South Circular roads, thus reducing congestion, and providing much needed East/West links between other lines that radiate outwards from central London. It also fills in areas with few railways in the London Underground Network, mostly in South East London, but also in other areas.
The Original copy of the map is a very large Portable Network Graphics image, and although the station names are not 100% clear, they are readable, and overall the map is a lot easier to understand... My extensions were added to the proposals that already exist for changes to the London Underground Network by 2016, just in case you were wondering what the East, West, Greenwich and Cross River Transits were, as well as the nunerous extensions to the lines that already exist.

mood to propose some extensions to the proposed London Underground
network in 2016. I am currently making a map with all of the
extensions, but I can currently tell you that I am making a more
logical northern end to the Piccadilly line, going to Palmers Green,
Winchmore Hill, Enfield Town, Southbury, Waltham Cross, and a few other
stations along the way. I am also making a revolutionary 'Circular'
Line, which is a circle, like the Circle Line, but follows the North
and South Circular Roads. I may put in some random lines too... Dark Fire 7月14日 Work experience ends...Yep - It's the end of my work experience. That means no access to broadband internet for free all day any more, but it's not all doom and gloom, bacause it does mean I'll be forced to spend more time doing actual programming rather than talking about it here...Oh, yeah...I missed the whole point of work experience - I was meant to work. Well, I did work...a little...whilst I was flicking quickly between this, the TfL website, the BBC website, and the Beta version of Portable Fresh Download...Well actually I did quite a lot of work - and it has been roasting hot here for three weeks, which makes working harder. It seems I didn't miss the point at all - I just didn't notice it, I was having so much fun...
