7月11日 Arnos Grove is an interchange station...Arnos Grove is an interchange station:
The new temporary London Underground maps have been released (I can't find one online yet, so that's why you're not looking at one now). On the map are the special bus routes. Arnos Grove shows up as an interchange between the working northern extremities of the Piccadilly line, and Bus Route 'A'. This is a memorable occasion for all Grovers. The last time Arnos Grove was anything other than an average station on the London Underground Map was when it was the end of the Piccadilly line for a while, sometime in the early 1930s. The only way I currently know how to get this map is to go to Arnos Grove, but the other stations affected by last Thursday's bombs are probably distributing the maps too.
Now, this is an interesting page (it is a few years out of date though):
Mmmmm...Extensions...

Here is a less confusing map of the East London Line extensions:
Dark Fire 7月8日 Latest Arnos Grove Travel News...For those of you who have found us on the London Bloggers website at Arnos Grove, I suppose I am obliged to give you the latest travel here:
• Train services from Cockfosters to Arnos Grove running
• Special bus service running from Arnos Grove to Finchely Central on the Northern line
• East car park closed (this is where the special buses are gathering)
• Countdown on the bus stops is playing up - Don't trust it. I saw it do strange things like this:
1 232 TURNPIKE LANE due
6 34 WALTHANSTOW 3 mins
7 184 TURNPIKE LANE 4 mins
7 382 MILL HILL EAST 5 mins
...and this:
1 232 TURNPIKE LANE due
9 34 WALTHANSTOW 17 mins
8 382 SOUTHGATE STN 15 mins
If, for some reason you are stuck at Arnos Grove, New Southgate or the nearby area, and you want to get a bus somewhere, then you can get:
382 to Mill Hill East (to get into central London) or Southgate
298 to Southgate, Cockfosters and Potters Bar
121 to Southgate, Oakwood and Enfield Town (to get the 121 you need to walk through Arnos Park, and up Arnos Grove into Southgate Village).
If you have any further questions, then there are a load of LUL staff in orange jackets at the enterance to Arnos Grove Station.
EXTRA ADVICE: When I was there an hour ago, there were a few Metro newspapers, but I think the bus drivers will have nicked them by now, so don't expect to find any...
